Overview

Eastside Style Co is a small, owner-run business making harnesses, leads and dog accessories in bright, playful colours.


What they wanted

Professional product and lifestyle photography for the business's social media, and to promote upcoming markets where people could come and buy the products. The brief was to showcase the products in real, playful settings, with dogs and capture the colourful, street style of the brand.


What I delivered

Two separate shoots:

  • A retro laundromat: dogs in red harnesses on the washing machines, inside a dryer and framed by a washing machine door, with the business owner reading a magazine and cuddling a dog on the bench
  • Street style: a model walking the dogs through graffiti-covered tunnels and underpasses, with harnesses in red, yellow, blue, green and lilac against the colourful walls
  • Product photography: harnesses and leads in every colour, styled on their own and in detail shots, like a harness and lead hanging beside the laundromat's vintage coin machine


The outcome
  • A collection of professional product and lifestyle images ready for the brand's social media
  • Images used to promote upcoming markets where customers could buy the products
  • While I focused on the professional shots, friends captured candid behind-the-scenes moments for reels. Having a professional on site with friends filming behind the scenes gave the brand both polished images and candid content.
